Personality Assessment

Welcome to the personality assessment!

One of the things we try to do is build a faith family rooted in trust. We believe that a vital component of building vulnerability-based trust is to assume positive intentions as we navigate the interpersonal ups and downs inherent to being a part of a faith family.

Understanding how God has uniquely created us and others is foundational in assuming positive intentions as we humbly attempt to put ourselves in others' shoes when assessing how to respond to one another.

This is why we use a personality assessment and why you'll hear it referenced a lot in your time connected here at North Central.

By following the instructions it should take about 10 minutes to complete the assessment.

Enjoy!

Instructions Part 1: Rate how often you embody each statement.

Style #1

Style #2

Style #3

Style #4

Instructions Part 2: Add up all the numbers from each style section and put the total in their corresponding box.

Style #1 = LION

Style #3 = GOLDEN RETRIEVER

Style #2 - OTTER

Style #4 = BEAVER

Instructions Part 3: Pick which personality style(s) best represent(s) your scores.

Instructions on identifying your personality style:

1. If you have one style that's significantly higher than the others, pick that as your style.

2. If you have two styles that are higher than the others but close to each other, pick them both as your style with the higher one being the first (Ex. Lion/Otter).

3. If you have three or more that are close, pick the one that is the highest as your style.
